My lovely daughter Erica & I were out @
the beach for morning tea last week & as she is gluten free we ordered our coffee & a gluten free choc bite full of dates & chocolate & orange flavours . And that got us thinking 'Why don't we try to make them' - so here is our attempt - not bad for the first try! We changed a few of the ingredients ie used Mandarins instead of Oranges & Macadamia nuts instead of cashews but pecans can be used as well
Anyways it turned out delicious and I thought I'd share it here...
Mix chopped dates, cocoa, chopped nuts of your choice together with orange juice to a stiff consistency & roll in coconut, set in fridge. Enjoy
